After getting into credit card debt while I was in college and staying that way until a couple of years ago, there’s no way I’m getting back into it because Capital One wants me back. As friends of mine joke when they hear the Capital One TV commercial line of “What’s in your wallet”, they all scream “CASH!!!” loud enough for Dave Ramsey to be proud!
Folks if you’re in credit card debt. Stop using them! Get out of debt and save yourself the headache and burden of dragging around the ball-and-chain of debt around for the rest of your life. I’m not sure if Capital One wants me back because they just miss me, or more than likely because they miss the 17%+ interest they were getting on the crap I purchased with their card.
We’ll soon be paying off our 2nd vehicle and then will just have school loans, our mortgage and few smaller medical bills left to wrap up. Many people said it was impossible to live debt free (which I know it isn’t).
Well, just consider me in pursuit of the impossible. BUH-BYE Capital One
