We've had a bit of a pest control issue in the Bean household the last week or so with some annoying little critters. We've had issues with ants crawling all over our kitchen counter and getting in our cat food bowl as well. My son's room has been infested with flying ants too. At first we thought they were termites, but we found out some information on the Internet about how to determine if they were flying ants instead of termites. Wheew!
We actually just got back from camping this past weekend and it was nice (but sad) that we had less issues with bugs outside than we did in our own house the week before.
Sounds like time to do something to me. Tonight while working on some other things I saw a commercial for Orkin that directed you to their Pest Threat website. I did.
After a few quick questions about your house and situation, they allow you to send your information to Orkin for someone to get back to you, which is obvious, but also gives you some nice information about the various insects you may have to worry about based on the answers to your questions and your geographic location.
I'm hoping since I responded to the ad I can get some good pricing on having them take care of our issues. If you've got some insect problems of your own, you might want to give their website a try, even if it's just questions that make you think about your own situation a little deeper, as well as the insects you may be dealing with in your own home.
