Here’s the new packaging you should be looking for when you’re browsing your favorite software retailer shopping for the next version of Microsoft Office suite.
I’ve been running Office 2007 now for about 6 months or so across the various iterations. I’ve been pleased with the new features and organization of information. It does take a little bit of getting used to and finding some of the lesser used features, but that’s the whole point right. Anything you’re going to be using regularly is right up front, right where you need it when you need it.
The new Office suite will be availalbe in the following variations with prices:
- Microsoft Office Professional 2007 ($499/$329)
- Microsoft Office Small Business 2007 ($449/$279)
- Microsoft Office Standard 2007 ($399/$239)
- Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 ($149/NA)
Office 2007 should be available to general public in January 2007 or shortly thereafter.
