I signed up for an Office Live account awhile back to try it out. Haven’t done much with it all. I’ve heard some people love it. I just don’t like being restricted to using the online editor for my site functions. I’d like to be able to embed Microsoft developed and provided widgets into the site, but have complete design control over everything else.
They’re making some updates to office in the coming year:
We think you’ll be happy to know about improvements we’re making to your Office Live Small Business service—especially since many of the suggestions came from customers like you. (And we thank you for that!)
You’ll find enhancements across all three of our services—Office Live Basics, Essentials, and Premium. We’re making the tools and services easier to use, adding some great new features and functionality, and enhancing the Office Live Home and overall site navigation.
The upgrade process will begin January 5th and will last four to six weeks. Be sure to check out the complete list of improvements at every service level available on our Web site.
Do you currently use Office Live? What do you think? I’d love to see your site and how you’re using it if you are. Give me your feedback and I’ll highlight your website and get you a little more exposure to the public if you’d like.
