I’m trying to remember what sport it was that started around the middle of football season. I used to really be interested in it awhile back. There was a great player up in Chicago that was responsible for actually watching any sport on TV. I’d watch him play, and that got me interested in watching some other players on other teams play, which eventually led to me beginning to watch other sports on TV.
Yet now, I can’t remember what sport it was I used to enjoy investing time in by watching it on television and even in person every now and then.
Time to end the sarcasm, Ron Artest (ex-Pacer) has released his soon to be platinum plastic rap album entitled “My World”. I by no means have any intention of purchasing this album or listening to a single track. The good news is this review on Billboard tells me everything I need to know to make me certain I’m right in my initial thoughts on the matter.
Artest wouldn’t know a clich?-free lyric if it threw a cup of beer at him. Over an unconscionable 72 minutes, the Tru Warier?who, no joke, purports at one point to hail from the country of Musica?decides that haters are bad, repping his hood is good and strip clubs are fun. And “Haterz,” his response to the embarrassing 2004 rushing-the-stands brawl that got him suspended for a season, involves calling Matt Lauer a girl and comparing himself to Jesus. Amateurish and unpleasant.
Did you catch that? “strip clubs are fun.” Looks like he’s helped build the Pacers team to what it is today. It’s too bad he’s not hear to help celebrate the success with the rest of the team, on probation.

[...] I’m going to coin a new phrase.? Whenever something goes horribly wrong, I’m going to call it an Artestism.? Throw a strike ball at the bowling alley and end up with a 7-10 split, that is an Artestism, man.? Go to start your car and it catches on fire, that is an Artestism.? Pacers sign a defensive genius in the game, but he ends up created more havoc off the court than he was supposed to create on it, well – that WAS AN ARTESTISM.? In case you are wondering what inspired my disdain this morning (besides his antics here in Indianapolis), I read this post at BnPositive this morning, which shares a review of Artest’s new CD (which appears to be?worth less?than the plastic it was printed on).? Great post. [...]
