I liked this song when I first heard it for a couple of reasons.
- I love intriguing female vocalists for some reason (Norah Jones, Regina Spektor, Jonatha Brooke, etc.)
- I used to have a 50′s & 60′s radio show, and this song reminds me of an old love song
The problem was every time I heard this song on the radio I didn’t know who it was and the DJ’s would never share. Yesterday I was working in a coffee shop and the song came on, I was hoping the DJ would give the name. I then got a call at the end of the song and through my peripheral hearing I could tell they were talking about the artist but I still didn’t grab the name. Luckily today a client clued me in to who it was and then I uncovered the video on her website.
The singer’s name is Ingrid Michaelson and I think I’ll be adding her to my list of favorite female vocalists.
