I’ve been an owner, user and fan of the Flip Video camera for a year now. I first received one before a family trip to Disney and it was absolutely perfect for capturing some of the memories of the trip. In fact, I found myself pulling out the Flip more frequently than even the still camera to capture the moment.
The weak link for the product in my opinion was the video management software and connection device to access all your videos on your camera. For my personal use I didn’t think there were enough features and options and I found myself pulling off the videos using the Windows File Explorer functionality.
I just noticed they’ve released and update and they’ve addressed some of the items I think needed improvement.
Perhaps the biggest feature addition is the ability to share videos straight to Facebook. The benefits of easy integration with Facebook almost goes without saying. They’ve also improved their movie editing functions. You can also start managing video and photo media content from other devices all with the Flipshare software.
