This isn’t a big news worthy post about changes in the internet connectivity arena. It’s more about a personal decision I’m trying to come to a conclusion on for myself.
I’m debating on whether or not to ditch my cable modem, which I’m very happy with, to switch over to DSL, which would be much cheaper. I figure I can have DSL for almost 1/3 of the price I’m paying for my cable modem with Comcast. There’s only one problem, I’m worried about a speed drop in service for the price.
After reading through more of Rian Stockbowers blog, I found a link to a new connectivity speed test, where I got the results here. 
Is anyone else seeing this type of speed from their DSL connections? Do I have anything to worry about? Is the difference worth the $30 difference in cost to make the change?
