This is absolutely astonishing! The sides of the whole are so clean it looks more like a bullet hole into the earth or a laser from space! How’s that for a conspiracy theory?

Some people love it and some people hate it. I think it’s cool, just wonder how much it costs to produce bills with this kind of technology. Is it really worth the investment?

Through all of the discussion, do you know what it is? What actually occurs when you’re being waterboarded?

Here’s a video I found in a post at Huffington Post about the controversial act. Mike Guy, a journalist for Playboy, decided to see for himself what all the hubbub was about. He guessed he could last 15 seconds without any problems.

"Invoking an existing fear". What do you think? I think I agree with the soldier, I’m not sure if it’s "torture", I’m sure it’s emotionally and mentally intense, but I agree that I think real "torture" involves physical wounds or pain.

Who’d have thought Playboy would deliver journalism like this, that no other major media outlet would have asked this question. At least not that I know of, do you?

I’m not exactly sure why, but when I overhear conversations by high school students and younger, I’m frequently irritated by their inexperienced viewpoints of the world around them. I guess I’m turning into that grumpy old guy everyone knows.

The boy was sharing his thoughts on art and what’s art and what’s not. The conversation eventually led to discussing communication. He was talking about a friend of his that’s now in college and has a professor that would always use really big words in class. I’m not sure if these words were considered part of the knowledge and learning they were supposed to be getting, but the kid didn’t appreciate the professor using all these words that the other students didn’t know.

Yeah, I’d hate for your intelligence to actually be challenged and stretched while you’re in college. I guess what our educationally challenged society needs is for all teachers and professors to not speak or expect any higher level of thought than the students they’re teaching in their classrooms.

I’m sure that will be the thing that really helps us all.
