I’ve been working for the last few years to be a little more serious about getting out of debt. The key to our efforts has been to just spend less wherever possible and to try and increase income with odd jobs and project as much as possible.
Today, I’ve knocked out another credit card in our list and am down to just one more loan. With the amount now going to the last one, the debt snowball is now pretty big and rolling with some momentum. We will be completely out of credit card debt a little later this year.
Time for celebration, without spending any money of course. We’ve still got plenty of other items, particularly some large medical bills that are crushing us, but having these stupid pieces of plastic out of the way and out of our lives is a great thing.
Congratulations! Just in time to get a tax hike and begin paying for everyone else who didn’t do the right thing!
