This site isn’t new, but it is improved. I first wrote about the Where’s George site back in 2005. Have you ever gotten a bill back from someone and thought, "I know I’ve had this in my pocket before!". Maybe you have.

With the Where’s George website you can track where those greenbacks are going and see how your money has been flying around this economy with or without your help.

Since I first wrote about Where’s George, we’ve had things develop like Twitter and Facebook, where you can now follow Where’s George on Twitter or you can be a fan of Where’s George on Facebook.

Have You Seen the New $100 Bill

On April - 26 - 2010 Comments Off

With the current economy, I’m not sure how many of us will get to see one of these in real-life when it’s released by the US Treasury in 2011. There’s a new C-note coming out of the presses and it’s got a load of new security features. Here’s a video preview of what you can expect.

Some people love it and some people hate it. I think it’s cool, just wonder how much it costs to produce bills with this kind of technology. Is it really worth the investment?

Amazing Baseball Play at Homeplate

On April - 22 - 2010 Comments Off

The baseball season for our family is in full swing. Not because we’re really that concerned about what’s happening in MLB, but because our son’s baseball season has started. He’s done well thus far and his team has won their first two games of the season.

Last night they had a tough game against his coach from last year and a number of his team mates from his team last year. They pulled out the win!

Ethan enjoys pitching and playing catcher. In the first game of the season he came in as a relief pitcher and through 54 pitches and chalked-up six strikeouts in the process. He enjoys playing catcher and since that’s the position I normally play in softball, I enjoy giving him tips and instruction on how to improve his catching skills.

Yesterday a player, Brian Kownacki, for Fordham College, made an amazing leap over a catcher to score a run for his team. We’ll have to work on how to defend the plate when that sort of thing happens, but I don’t think we’ll be seeing this type of move anytime soon in Little League baseball.

Andrew Angle shared this video link via Twitter a few weeks ago and I thought it was really creative and entertaining. According to Andrew, this was shot in one take. After watching the video below, the second video shows how it was done.

Now, watch "Behind the Screen" to see how it was produced.

I’ve been working lately on trying to clean-up my Inbox and get rid of stuff I receive via email that I never really end up reading or paying attention to on a regular basis. The latest target for removal have been the emails I receive from Fred Pryor Seminars.

I go to the bottom of the email and click on the automated unsubscribe link that’s provided. When you click on the link you see the following webpage.

You enter your email address and click on the button that’s clearly labeled "Yes, remove me!" They even put an exclamation point in there to make sure you get the message right? Not so much.

Here’s the next screen you see.

Yep, you read that right. Now I have NOT been removed from their email list. I did notice that the link for removal was to a http://busenetwork.net address, perhaps they left an "a" off that first part of the URL. It should have been http://abusenetwork.net

One of my absolute favorite game titles of all times for the Xbox is Tiger Woods PGA Tour golf from EA Sports. After receiving an email recently to inform me that I could now play my favorite Tiger Woods golf game online I was immediately concerned about the future productivity that would be exhibited by me on my computer.

Since I’ve been playing the game on a game console for so long, I’ve gotten used to all the player controls available through the console controllers. I’ve even played around with the adjustments to playing with the Nintendo Wii motion controllers.

Playing online with just your mouse and a keyboard takes some adjustment, but it doesn’t take away any of the fun. The added bonus, although consoles are delivering this now too, is the online aspect of game play. There are tons of people playing the same game and the same course you are, you can even see them playing around you as you play.

So, if you’re looking for a fun way to kill a few hours of your day, go play Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online by EA Sports.
