On my birthday my boss has decided to give me a gift. He’ll be leaving for two weeks tomorrow to hike up Mt. Kilimanjaro with his family.
How cool is that?
I tried to convince him that there would be no better corporate team building activity for our company that I can imagine. Since he was going with his father and it was a family event I didn’t push it too much (maybe a little). I’m excited for him and his family. Tired of hearing about it, but excited. I then realized that I’ll be hearing about it for a long time to come with all the stories and adventures and repeat stories. Oh well. Living vicariously I guess.
I thought last week how cool it will be for his 17 and 16 year old kids that are going as well:
- “What did you over the summer?”
- “Oh, I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro”
- “No really, what did you do?”
- “Really! I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro”
Totally cool!
Have fun boss of mine! Can’t wait to see the photos and hear the stories.
