Colts Bad News

First it’s Dominic Rhodes getting pulled over going 81mph and driving while intoxicated. Interestingly enough he was pulled over right where I drive to work everyday, didn’t notice him though so not sure what time it was when all this happened.

Then we’ve got Dallas Clark getting ejected from a girl’s high school basketball game because of something he said to a ref.

The good thing is, they still aren’t even close to character void that we see from the Indiana Pacers.

UPDATE: Just read that Dwight Freeney will be staying with the Colts! That’s super good news, especially since I finally got a jersey from my wife this season and it was a Freeney jersey.

You’re right, but I think they’ve all got starring roles in the upcoming sequel “The Longest Yard 2″

At least it happened after the super bowl. And give me a break, DUI? Is that really a comparrison to shooting a gun off in a strip club??? People get DUI all the time…and if you ask me 81 in a 55 (at least where he got caught) is the average speed on that road…especially during rush hour. I’m not excusing drunk driving, but if he handles it well he’ll be no different than the (at least 3) people I know who got off scott free of DUI charges and they were in worse shape. One girl went the wrong way down a road and got pulled over…the cop never showed in court and the case was dropped. One guy rolled his vehicle and walked home, and got a slap on the wrist for leaving the scene. And another guy drove halfway home, pulled into a walmart and puked all over himself before waking up to the cop’s flashlight. He never was charged but did spend the night in jail. I’ll give Rhodes credit…if he pleads guilty he’ll lose his license for a year and do community service. If he pleads not guilty he’ll probably get off because in my opinion Indiana does a crap job of handling these things. I think the media needs to just wait a bit and see how drunk he was (if it was under .1 then he shouldn’t have been arrested anyway, and just gotten a speeding ticket, because I know people who drive better at .08 than morons on cell phones, doing their makeup, and eating burgers and listening to rap music who drive a whole lot worse. QED
