I’ve finally done it! I actually won a game in my Fantasy Football league. Actually, this is my second win. What’s more impressive though is after tonight I beat EVERYONE in my league, not just my immediate competition for the week.
What helped me win? The foot of Neil Rackers for Arizona Cardinals and the uselessness of the Chicago offense in Monday Night Football. What’s sad is that Chicago’s defense brought the Bears back to ultimately win the game after two turnovers within 3 minutes scored 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter.
Even more depressing was that Matt Leinhart did everything he could to win the game for them, even putting Neil Rackers in the position for the game winning field goal. But it just wasn’t to be. This game may be forever defined as the athletic definition of “choke” in the dictionary.
I’m sure Edgerrin is enjoying his time in Arizona. Hopefully his golf game is improving.

Wow…nice to hear you’re in a FF League. I’ve only asked you to be in leagues for about 6 years. Tried and tried to “nah, not interested”. Guess “I’m not good enough”…see how it is.

But have you ever asked me to be in an NFL Fantasy League? I was in the NBA one with you for awhile. That was too much work. I’m liking the NFL one though, even though I’m 2-4.
