Had to be at work this morning at 5:30am. It’s been quite some time since I’ve been up that early, usually don’t get up that early except for golf or fishing.
Good day today though. Learned alot, lots more to learn.

Finally got another job, back to the working world. Guess the “9 to 5″ isn’t exactly accurate though since I’m working retail. My hours could be anything from 5:30am-midnight, any day of the week. I’ve started working for a large home improvement store that I’m actually pretty excited about working for in the coming days. I believe I have the opportunity to really push myself and be rewarded hopefully fairly quickly for that hard work by moving up into management fairly rapidly. We’ll see if everything goes as planned.
Another interesting component of the deal is that instead of buying a car or worrying about it, I instead went and bought a new mountain bike. It’s 4 miles one-way to work, which has taken me about 20 minutes to do each time so far. So not too bad, I figure it would take me at least 10+ minutes to get there in a car. But, this way I’m saving a car payment every month, no insurance to worry about, and I’m not spending $1.90/gallon on gas.
Need to catch up on some other things right this minute, but hopefully I’ll be back a little later to blog some.
